The Quick Actions Menu
You can perform advanced actions on any item that has already been sent to the kitchen by using a Press & Hold gesture.
How to trigger
2. Find the item in the list.
3. Press and hold your finger (or mouse button) on the item for about 0.5 seconds.
4. The Item Actions menu will appear.

Action Types
1. Re-fire
Used when a dish needs to be cooked again, such as when it was served cold or prepared incorrectly. This action clones the item at £0.00 and sends a new production ticket to the kitchen immediately. Admins and Managers can perform this instantly, while staff will trigger an approval request.
2. Comp (Complementary)
Used to remove the charge for an item while still tracking it for inventory and reporting. This sets the item price to £0.00 and marks it as "Comped" on the bill. This action requires Manager Authorization when triggered by staff.
3. Void
Used to cancel an item entirely from the bill. This removes the item and automatically prints a "VOID" ticket in the kitchen to stop production. Like comps, this action requires Manager Authorization for staff roles.

Remote Manager Authorization
VeriFactu EPOS features a unique Remote Authorization workflow that keeps staff on the floor and managers at the bar.
The Workflow
When a staff member selects Comp or Void, they are prompted to enter a reason. This request is instantly sent to the Bar KDS screen as an active authorization card. From there, a manager can review the details and tap Approve or Reject. If authorized, the system automatically updates the POS bill and kitchen tickets in real-time.
